An AI voice agent that picks up when your team can’t.
At opening time every line is busy, and in the evening calls go to voicemail. We build voice agents that pick up in natural speech, say up front that they are an AI, book or change what is needed in your tools, and put the call through to your team, with a summary, whenever it matters. Callers get their answer while still on the line.
Incoming call, live transcript
Sophie D., maintenance contract
Hi, our boiler stopped this morning, no heating and no hot water. We have a maintenance contract with you. Can someone come today?
- 08:52:01Introduced itself as an AI. Offered a person at any moment.
- 08:52:09Understood the call. Breakdown, no heating: urgent.
- 08:52:14Found the contract. Matched by the caller’s number, address read back.
- 08:52:20Checked the technicians’ calendar. Held a slot today at 2 p.m.
- 08:52:31Wrote the call summary for the dispatcher, with the transcript.
Same-day visit: waiting for the dispatcher. Sophie knows a person confirms it by text.
The calls your team will stop juggling.
Most companies with a switchboard get these six kinds of calls, day after day. Any of them can be where your first voice agent starts.
Appointments
BeforeSomeone stops what they are doing to find a slot, write it down and confirm it.
AfterThe agent books, moves or cancels in your calendar while the caller is on the line.
After hours and peaks
BeforeCallers hit voicemail in the evening, or hang up after a long wait at opening time.
AfterEvery call gets an answer, several at once, and the urgent ones reach your on-call person.
Where is my order?
BeforeStaff look up the same delivery status in the same tool, call after call.
AfterThe agent finds the order, gives the status and sends the tracking link by text.
Breakdowns and after-sales
BeforeThe dispatcher takes notes by hand, then calls back to ask what was missing.
AfterThe agent asks the right questions, checks the contract and hands over a complete file.
Inbound requests
BeforeIncoming requests reach whoever answers, with half the details.
AfterThe agent collects the need, the contact and the deadline, then routes it to the right person.
Internal helpdesk
BeforeThe support line rings for password resets and access requests all day.
AfterThe agent handles the routine requests by your rules and opens a ticket for the rest.
What is an AI voice agent?
An AI voice agent is software that holds a phone conversation in natural speech. It turns the caller’s words into text, uses a language model to understand the request and decide what to do, acts in your tools, and answers with a synthetic voice. It says it is an AI, and it passes the call to a person when the request calls for one.
Callers explain the problem in their own words, with no menu to sit through and no keyword to guess. They interrupt, change their mind halfway, and the agent keeps up. Behind the voice it works like our other agents: it applies your rules, looks things up in your calendar, CRM or order system, and asks a person before anything sensitive.
Every call opens with the agent saying it is an AI, because the EU AI Act (article 50) requires people to be told when they are dealing with one. When calls are recorded or transcribed, the caller hears that too, as the GDPR requires, and you set how long anything is kept.
Used as an AI phone answering service, the agent takes the calls your team cannot: it answers routine questions, books appointments, takes a full message with the reason for the call and passes the rest to the right person. Unlike a staffed answering service, it works directly in your calendar and records, and it can take several calls at once.
How your voice agent takes its first call.
Week 1
Listen to your calls
We listen to real calls with your team, sort them by reason and pick the ones with the clearest gain. You get a one-page scope and a fixed price.
Weeks 2 to 3
Design the conversation
We choose the voice with you, write what it may say and do, and connect it to your phone line, calendar and records.
Weeks 4 to 5
Test with your team calling
Your team calls it with real past situations, accents and bad lines included. We fix every misunderstanding before a customer hears it.
Week 6
Go live on part of the line
It starts with after-hours or overflow calls, then takes on more. A dashboard shows calls handled, handovers and their reasons.
Voice agent, phone menu or answering service?
Your phone rings more than your team can handle. Here is how the three usual answers compare, line by line.
| Criterion | AI voice agent | Phone menu (IVR) | Answering service or call center |
|---|---|---|---|
| Caller explains in their own words | Yes | No, presses keys or says keywords | Yes |
| Available outside opening hours | Yes, day and night | Yes, but only to route calls | Depending on the contract |
| Acts in your tools (calendar, CRM, orders) | Yes, through connections | No | Yes, by hand |
| Handles call peaks | Several calls at once | Puts callers in a queue | Depends on staffing |
| Knows your business in detail | From your rules and documents | No | After training their agents |
| Best for | Frequent, well-defined calls | Simple routing | Long or sensitive calls that need a person |
What your callers can count on.
Security and dataIt always says it is an AI.
From the first sentence, as the EU AI Act requires. Nobody is led to think they are talking to a person.
A person is one sentence away.
Callers can ask for someone at any moment and are put through, or offered a call-back when nobody is free.
Your rules decide what it confirms alone.
Same-day visits, refunds, exceptions: anything sensitive waits for a yes from your team.
Every call leaves a trace.
A summary, the transcript and what the agent did, attached to the right record.
Voices and data under your control.
Hosting in the EU is possible, recording is announced, and you set how long anything is kept.
What decides the price of a voice agent.
The voice itself weighs little in the bill. The work sits in the call reasons the agent handles and in the systems it touches behind them. The list below is what moves the figure, which you receive fixed in writing before any build starts.
See market price ranges in the AI agent cost guide- 01How many call reasons the agent handles, and how varied they are.
- 02How many systems it reads and updates: calendar, CRM, orders, ticketing.
- 03How many calls it takes, and how high your peaks are.
- 04The languages and accents it must understand.
- 05Your phone setup, and where the speech and language models run.
- 06Your handover, recording and retention rules.
Voice AI agents: the questions buyers ask us
Do callers have to be told they are talking to an AI?
Yes. The EU AI Act (article 50) requires people to be informed when they interact with an AI system, and it is also what keeps their trust. Our agents say it in their first sentence and offer a person at any moment.
Can it work as an AI phone answering service?
Yes, and that is often where it starts: evenings, weekends and overflow when every line is busy. It answers routine questions, books appointments and takes a full message with the reason for the call. Anything it cannot settle goes to the right person with a summary, or onto a call-back list for the next morning.
Does it work with our current phone system?
In most cases, yes. The agent connects to your phone system through a standard SIP connection or a forwarded number, so you keep your number. We check your setup in the first week, before anything is built.
What happens when it does not understand?
It rephrases once, then hands the call to a person with a summary of what was said, so the caller does not repeat everything. It never keeps someone going round in circles.
Can it make outbound calls?
We build agents for the calls you receive, and for call-backs your customers asked for. We do not build cold-calling agents: they are strictly regulated, and they damage the trust a voice agent depends on.
How long does it take to go live?
A first voice agent on a few well-defined call reasons usually goes live in four to eight weeks, depending on your phone setup and the systems involved. The first week always ends with a written scope and date.
Often built together
- AI agents To finish the task after the call ends.
- AI chatbot development The same answers, in writing, on your site.
- Knowledge assistant So the agent answers from your documents.
- AI integration To connect it to your calendar, CRM and orders.
- Private LLM When the calls must stay on your servers.
- EU AI Act compliance What the law asks of an AI that talks to people.
Which calls would you like to never miss again?
Tell us why people call you and when your lines saturate. We reply within one business day, then go through those calls with you, reason by reason, in a free 30-minute assessment.
