AI for finance that prepares each entry for your approval.
We build agents that read supplier invoices and receipts, match bank lines, chase missing documents and prepare the month-end file inside your accounting software or ERP. Each proposed entry keeps its source document, and nothing is posted without the approval rules you set.

What AI for finance changes in a finance team
In a company finance team, AI for finance means agents that do the reading, matching and chasing behind every close. They extract invoices and receipts, match them to purchase orders and bank lines, flag what does not add up and prepare entries for approval. The controller keeps the judgment and the signature, and the agent keeps the paper trail.
What stalls a close is rarely the accounting itself. It is the missing receipt, the invoice that does not match the order, the bank line nobody can explain, the reminder sent for the third time. Those steps follow rules, and the agent follows them every day of the month, from the first invoice on.
Agents plug into what you already run: the accounting software or ERP, the bank feeds, the shared inbox where invoices land, the expense tool. They propose and you approve, and every step is logged with the document, the check that was run and the person who validated it.
What your finance team lives with at month-end
- The close stalls every month on missing receipts.
- Invoices arrive by email, by post and through several supplier portals.
- Bank lines without a clear reference end up in a suspense account.
- Customer reminders go out late, because someone had to find the invoice first.
- Expense reports come back twice for the same missing receipt.
Where an agent pays off first in finance
Start with a flow that repeats every week and follows written rules. These are the usual first agents.
01
Supplier invoice intake
Invoices from the shared inbox are read in any layout, checked for VAT and IBAN, matched to their order and prepared for posting. Anything unusual waits for a person.
Invoice processing02
Bank reconciliation
Each bank line is matched to its invoice or payment, grouped and partial payments included. Lines with no match come with a suggestion, or go to the right person.
AI automation03
Receipts and expense reports
The agent reads receipts, checks them against your expense policy and asks the employee for what is missing before the report reaches you.
Document AI04
Customer reminders
Overdue invoices get a reminder in the right tone at the right stage, with the invoice attached. Disputes go to a person with the full history.
AI agents05
The month-end file
Accruals to review, unmatched items, missing documents: the agent keeps the list and the supporting files current, so the close starts from a clean file.
Process automation06
Watch it read an invoice
Paste a messy supplier invoice into the live demo. It returns checked data, and two of the samples hide an error: a wrong VAT amount and a wrong line total.

AI for finance: the check and the evidence behind every entry
What your auditors will ask about each flow, answered before they ask: what was checked, what proof was kept and who signed.
| Finance flow | Check the agent runs | Evidence kept | Signed off by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supplier invoice | VAT, IBAN and totals recomputed, the invoice matched to its purchase order | The invoice, the order and the result of each check | The approver your threshold names |
| Bank line | Matched to an invoice or a payment, grouped and partial payments included | The bank line, the matched document and the matching rule used | The accountant, for every line left unmatched |
| Expense report | Each receipt read and checked against your expense policy | The receipt, the policy rule applied and the employee’s answers | The manager, then finance |
| Customer reminder | Overdue status confirmed in the ledger before any reminder goes out | The reminder sent, its stage and the invoice attached | Finance for disputes, the schedule you set for the rest |
| Change of supplier bank details | Flagged on arrival, never applied automatically | The request, the call to a known contact and its outcome | A person, after that call |
| Month-end accruals | Open items listed with their supporting files | The list as it stood on closing day | The controller |
Illustrative scenario
A distributor’s close, prepared as the month goes
In this scenario, Claire is the finance manager of a distributor with a small accounting team. Supplier invoices arrive in a shared inbox, bank lines come from two banks, and the close depends on receipts that employees send late.
Fictional names, no figures claimed. The live extraction demo on this site shows the invoice step on fictional documents.
- Each invoice in the shared inbox is read, checked and matched to its purchase order.
- Bank lines are matched every day, and the leftovers reach Claire with a suggestion.
- Employees get a reminder for each missing receipt, with the expense it belongs to.
- Proposed entries wait in the accounting software until someone approves them.
- On the last day of the month, the list of open items is already written.
Controls your auditors can sign off
- A person approves before posting. You set the thresholds: which entries post after one approval, which need two signatures, which the agent never touches. Separation of duties stays as your auditors expect it.
- Every entry can be traced. Each proposed entry keeps its source document, the checks performed and the name of the approver, so an auditor can follow it back.
- E-invoicing in France.Since September 1, 2026, every VAT-registered company in France must be able to receive electronic invoices, and large and mid-size companies must issue them; smaller companies follow on September 1, 2027. The agent works on the structured data your approved platform delivers.
- Bank details guarded.Read-only access to bank feeds. Any change of supplier bank details is flagged for a person to confirm through a known contact, since it is a classic route for payment fraud.
Finance and accounting: your questions
Who approves before an entry is posted?
You do, through rules we write with you: by amount, by supplier, by account. The agent prepares and explains, the entry is posted after the approval your process requires, and the log shows who approved what.
Does it work with our accounting software?
It connects through the API or the import formats of your software or ERP, such as Sage, Cegid, Odoo, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics. We check the connection route during the free assessment.
Our tool already has OCR. What does an agent add?
OCR reads the fields. The agent checks them against the order, the delivery and your rules, chases what is missing and explains everything it flags. It often uses your tool’s OCR as its first step.
Is our financial data safe?
It is processed in the EU or on your servers, with the narrowest access the task needs and a log of every action. The details are on our security page, and they go into the contract.
How long does a first agent take?
Usually four to eight weeks, tested on your past invoices and bank lines before it runs on live ones. Scope and price are fixed before we start. Your team sees the test results before go-live.
