AI in government, with code your team owns.

We build AI assistants and business software for public bodies and local authorities: citizen requests read and routed to the right department, field reports with a position and a status, answers drawn from your own rules and procedures. Hosted in Europe or on your servers, and delivered with the source code.

What AI in government can do for a public service today

AI in government works best on the requests and documents that reach a public service every day. It reads messages from citizens, sorts them by subject and area, routes each one to the right department and drafts the reply. Staff ask about internal procedures in plain words and get the answer with its source. Decisions about people stay with officials.

Requests reach a public service through many doors: web forms, email, phone, the front desk, field teams. The first gain is a single view, where every request has a position, a status and an owner, whichever door it came through.

The second is control. A public body has to be able to change provider, host the tool itself and audit what it does. That is why we deliver the source code, document the hosting and train the people who will maintain it.

What your services live with today

  • Reports arrive through several channels, and nobody has the whole picture.
  • Emails travel from one department to another until someone takes them.
  • The answer a citizen gets depends on who knows the procedure.
  • The software you rely on belongs to a vendor you cannot leave.
  • Field teams note issues on paper and type them in back at the office.

Three public-service projects that start small

Each one can begin in a single department and grow once it has proved itself.

  • 01

    Citizen requests sorted and routed

Messages from forms and email are read, classified by subject and location, sent to the right department and answered with a draft the officer checks.

Field reporting with position and status

Staff and residents report an issue with a photo and a position. Each report is tracked until it is closed, and the service sees the whole territory on one map.

    An assistant on your procedures

Staff ask about internal rules, council decisions or procedures and get the answer with the passage it comes from, on a model hosted in Europe or on your servers.

AI in government: the questions to ask before you buy

A public service buys for years and answers to citizens. These questions protect both, and the third column is what we put in writing.

AI in government: questions a public buyer should ask a provider, why each one matters and what we commit to
Question to askWhy it matters for a public bodyWhat we commit to
Who owns the code?Leaving a vendor should never mean rebuilding the serviceThe code, the accounts and the rights are yours, with the documentation
Where are the data processed?Citizen data and internal documents are sensitive, and your rules may limit where they goHosting in the EU or on your servers, written into the contract
Can the AI decide on a person’s rights?AI that evaluates eligibility for essential public benefits and services is high-risk under AI Act annex III, point 5(a)AI stays on sorting, drafting and searching, and officials decide

Real project, client kept private

A national digital address base, in production, with its source code handed over

A public cooperation agency needed a national address base for a country where classic addressing does not cover the whole territory, then an urban platform built on top of it. No SaaS covered either need, and the institution required full control of the code and the hosting from the first day.

Client kept private. A second public project, the reporting platform built for the tramway works of a city region, is told on our construction page.

  • Offline-first design: field contributions saved on the device and sent when the connection returns
  • Places recorded from a GPS position and a short description, without a formal address system
  • An open-source stack the institution can host itself, with the sources and a self-hosting guide
  • Three local developers recruited and trained, who took over maintenance after the mission

The rules a public-sector AI project follows

  • Public procurementWe answer calls for tenders and consultations under the procurement rules of your country. Your buyer decides which procedure applies, and we can scope a first phase that fits it.
  • AccessibilityPublic-sector websites and apps must be accessible under the EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102). Screens used by citizens are designed and tested with that in mind.
  • High-risk uses under the AI ActThe EU AI Act classes as high-risk the systems used to decide on access to essential public services and benefits. We keep AI on sorting, drafting and searching, and leave decisions about people to officials.
  • ReversibilityCode, data and documentation are yours. You can host the tool, change provider or take it in-house without asking us.

Public sector: your questions

Can we buy this through public procurement?

Yes. We answer tenders and consultations, and a first phase can be scoped to fit a smaller procedure. Your buyer decides which procedure applies. We provide the technical brief, the scope and a fixed price for that phase.

Where are the data hosted?

In Europe, with a host you approve, or on your own servers. The choice is written in the contract, and the models can run in the same place. Access is limited to the people and systems the service needs.

Will citizens know they are talking to an AI?

Yes. Any assistant that talks to the public says it is an AI, as the EU AI Act requires, and offers a way to reach a person. The handover keeps the whole exchange, so the citizen does not have to repeat the request.

Do we get the source code?

Yes, with the documentation and a hosting guide. On the address base project above, a local team took over maintenance after we left. You can host the tool, change provider or take it in-house whenever you choose.

Can the AI make decisions about citizens?

Not in what we build. Systems that decide on access to essential public services and benefits are high-risk under the EU AI Act. We keep AI on sorting, drafting and searching, and every decision about a person stays with an official and is recorded in the file.
