A custom ERP that runs your operations from one place.

Orders arrive in one tool, stock lives in another and invoicing waits for someone to copy the numbers across. A custom ERP brings them into one system built on your own flows. AI reads the orders and documents that still arrive by email, and a person approves what it prepares.

Split delivery: waiting for your approval. The ERP prepares the order. A person confirms the delivery terms to the customer.

What is a custom ERP, and when does it make sense?

A custom ERP is enterprise resource planning software built around one company’s operations: orders, purchasing, stock, production or services, and invoicing, all sharing one database. It makes sense when packaged ERPs force costly workarounds, or when your flows are specific enough that a package would need heavy customization anyway.

A custom ERP rarely replaces everything at once. We start with the module that hurts most, such as order handling or production planning, and connect it to the accounting software you keep. Other modules follow once the first one has proven itself.

The flip side is real: you carry the upkeep of your own system. That is why we use mainstream technology that any competent team can take over, and hand over the code with its documentation.

An ERP your company can keep for years, with or without us.

Security and data
  • Mainstream technology.

Common languages and databases, so any competent team can maintain the system.

  • The code is yours, with no license to pay.

Repository, documentation and deployment scripts are handed over.

  • Accounting stays where it is.

We connect to your accounting and payroll software and leave it in charge of what tax and labor rules require.

  • Every change traced.

Who changed a price, a stock level or an order, and when.

  • Tested at every release.

Automated tests run on the flows that matter before each new version goes live.

Where a custom ERP earns its keep.

Three scenarios, shown as such: situations where a packaged ERP tends to force workarounds, and what a custom one does instead.

  • Made-to-order production

BeforeEach order is a small project, and the ERP only knows catalog items.

AfterOrders, bills of materials and production steps modeled on the way your workshop really runs.

  • A services company with field teams

BeforeJobs planned in one tool, reported on paper and invoiced from a third.

AfterPlanning, job reports and invoicing in one flow, from the technician’s phone to the invoice.

  • Distribution across several channels

BeforeOrders from EDI, email, the website and sales reps, entered four different ways.

AfterOne order flow whatever the channel, with orders read from emails and PDFs and checked before they count.

Custom ERP or packaged ERP: how to decide?

For standard operations, a packaged ERP is often the better deal, and we will tell you. The comparison below shows where the line falls.

Your custom ERP, one module at a time, at your pace.

  1. Before any build

    Map the flows

From the order to the invoice, we follow your flows, list the exceptions and choose the first module. Scope and price are fixed in writing.

  2. First module

    Built and used

The module that hurts most is built, connected to your accounting and used on real orders before the next one starts.

  3. Next modules

    Added once trusted

Each module comes in when the previous one has earned your team’s trust. You set the pace.

  4. Over the years

Run it, or take it back

We maintain and evolve it, or hand the code and documentation to your own team.

What the price of a custom ERP depends on.

A custom ERP is priced module by module. The first one, often order handling connected to your accounting, is budgeted in writing before it starts. The next ones are priced the same way, once the first has proven itself.

Custom ERP: the questions buyers ask us

Is a custom ERP more expensive than Odoo or another package?

It depends on the horizon. A package costs less to start when your flows are standard. When it needs heavy customization and a license for every user, a custom ERP built module by module can cost less over the years. The cost guide gives market ranges.

Can we keep our accounting software?

Yes, and we recommend it. The ERP sends invoices and journal entries to your accounting software, which keeps handling what tax rules and your accountant require. Your finance team keeps the tool it knows, and nobody retypes an invoice.

Do we have to replace everything at once?

No. We start with one module, such as orders or planning, connected to what you already run. The next module comes once the first one is trusted, so your operations never depend on a single big switch-over weekend.

Can AI enter orders in the ERP?

It can read purchase orders that arrive by email or PDF, match references and customers, and prepare the order. A person approves before it counts. You can try the extraction on sample documents in our live demo.

Who maintains the ERP?

You choose: we maintain and evolve it under a support agreement, or your own team does, trained on the code and working from its documentation. The code, the database and the deployment scripts are yours in both cases.

What if our company changes?

The ERP changes with it. A new site, a new channel or a new product line becomes a new module or rule, added on your schedule instead of waiting for a vendor roadmap.
